How do we deal with this Unknown Future
Ours are turbulent times, where what we once took for granted will, most likely, no longer be there - or at least, not the way it once was.
Most of us are frustrated, both by our own powerlessness and by how fast [and unexpected] this change occurred - did you ever think that your job - which you did so well - would no longer be there [and it wasn’t even your fault]… or that grocery stores would run out of the most basic supplies… or that so many would be forced to stay indoors, only allowed out for the most basic necessities…
Inconceivable - and yet here we are… and, whether we like it or not, we have to learn how to accept this new future, this unknown and uncertain life, no matter how frustrating it may be.
So here are some suggestions for you to consider -
There are two major aspects to you - the Inner You, which is the very essence of your Being, and can be creative or analytical, extrovert or introvert, warrior or healer …
Then there is the Outer You, the one that responds to external circumstances, the one that learns a new trade, that discovers new ways of doing things, that grows to adapt to circumstances …
And here’s the Key - we have ALL gone through major changes in our Life - and survived quite well …Think of your first day of school, or when you left home to go to college … your first job, or the first apartment…
Each of these was a new challenge, a new demand on your Life, new responsibilities, new beginnings - all of which you did admirably well, and succeeded not only to meet these demands, but you went on to greater and better things.
You matured, going from strength to strength, you got smarter, stronger, more independent… you realized that you can succeed, for you are in fact very capable to meet these changing times.
