In regards to the Covid-19; from the Village of Tigerton
Starting immediately, please utilize the drop boxes outside the Community Center for making any water bill payments, dog licensing or returning library books. If there are items you have questions on, please call the office at 715-535-2262, email tigerton@frontiernet.net, us our village Facebook Page or our Remind App (see below how to sign up) If you are at all sick or have been in contact with those who may have had exposure, please DO NOT enter any of our public buildings.
Also, with the school and possibly daycare being closed soon, our village clerk's hours will be more limited. Please watch our Facebook Page for her intended hours. As of right now, Trisha is planning to be closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting this week Thursday, March 19th. This may change after tonight's school board meeting to start Tuesday.
I ask that everyone please respect our business owners, they will choose how they want to handle this issue as of now for their businesses, and we ask that you respect all their decisions.
With the madness of the toilet paper shortage, please DO NOT flush any products down the toilet but toilet paper. Our utility is concerned that people may start flushing wipes or other items and this could not only cause damage to your lateral, but the entire system for the Village. Even wipes marked flushable should not be flushed.
While we see our daily routines disrupted, I ask our residents to take advantage of the time with your family. Do not encourage large gatherings or other activities that compromise the principles of social distancing. Please continue to check in on the vulnerable people in your own life and on your street. Look out for one another.
I am proud to be a part of this community and know that we will uphold the very definition of community by continuing to do what is in the best interest of everyone. On behalf of myself and the entire Village of Tigerton Board and Staff, we are committed to the health, safety and welfare of each and every one of our residents. Thank you and stay safe.
Andrea Graham - Village President
