Topic 1 of 7: Power of Friendship |
Friendship is built on common interests, shared experiences, and a sense of communal purpose. Research shows that strong social connections contribute to improved mental well-being, reduced stress levels, and enhanced physical health. Through friendship, we not only create cherished memories but also cultivate a support system that makes life's journey more meaningful and enjoyable. Photo above was taken at our 2023 Camp Innsbrook where friendship advancement was front and center. Check out our previous newsletters. |

You start with light weights and build up as you gain fitness. See Dr Peter Attia's discussion on the benefit of rucking. Multiple dates offered. More info on future hikes here |

Topic 5 of 7: Member spotlight Katarina, the master wanderer |
Katarina shares five special adventure moments on her member profile (1) Private concert by Tcheka (Cape Verdean singer/guitarist) in Lisbon after being invited to the home of a street musician following his performance. (2) Reaching the summit of Machu Picchu / Completing the stairs of death in 2019 (3) Sharing many meals with locals, hearing their stories, and learning about their life experiences (4) Riding a vintage bike through the tulip fields of Megchelen, Netherlands. It felt like I was in a Claude Monet painting. (5) 2 am conversation with God upon a random sand dune in the Sahara Desert. Only lit by the stars and surrounded by complete silence, it was a moment of perfect clarity. I had the pleasure of hiking/camping with Katarina in the Grand Canyon ... she brought smiles. laughter, and a sunny spirit that helped us embrace the challenge and build memories that we cherish. See our photo gallery for other MAC member adventures. |
