I hope you had a really great end of year and your 2023 is feeling really good so far.
My family and I were fortunate enough to go to the Big Island of Hawaii for Christmas this year. It was a wonderful time to reset and be with family. At the end of our trip, we offered our leis to the Buddha at Buddha Point. When we each left a lei, we voiced something we wanted to leave on the island—a habit, a way of thinking, a fear. The idea was to each identify something that was no longer working in our individual lives and would be better left behind. It was simple, powerful, and has provided some great conversation since then. I encourage you to think about what you need to leave behind. It doesn’t have to be anything big, but if you HAD to name something right now, what would it be that is no longer serving you? Say it out loud to yourself and then release it.
I look forward to sharing some of my thoughts, ideas, and plans with you in the coming months… Until then, enjoy this article below—on happiness—I found it very interesting and insightful, I hope you do as well.
Love,
Sara
