Before we jump in to the pods, let's have a little background. The Amplified platform was founded in 2019 by Des Moines entrepreneur Amner Martinez. Amner wanted to highlight various voices and "amplify" important conversations in the community. In addition to Amplified, Amner is also the founder/CEO of Infinite Resources, a staffing company whose office doubles as the Amplified recording studio! And of course, Amner is at the helm of the Amner Martinez Podcast.
How to describe Amplified...hmm. We have fun, but we also have seriously substantial conversations about all sorts of things including but not limited to motherhood, racial and ethnic identity, politics and culture, the environment and the immigrant story.
