Upcoming Events

On Thursday, April 28th at Polaris Village Academy in Easton, MD I will be helping parents better prepare their children become successful adults. The schools mission is to create a village of support for every student and family they serve through thoughtful, cohesive, and equity-minded partnerships in their community.

Humbled and excited to support this academy by engaging their parents and helping the school achieve their aspirations. Jymil Thompson clearly recognizes the criticality of parenting in child development, and the value of investing in parent education.

I want to use this space to highlight an emerging partnership with someone who can truly impact the lives of men and families - Joshua Chase. We have had multiple conversations and are looking to build a relationship based upon common goals.

With that, I invite you to check out the Chase Collective and see if he can meet some of your needs.  And for fathers of daughters, Josh has an outstanding product called Dad & Daughter Date Cards which you can use now to build that lasting relationship with your daughter.

(Another) Proud Papa Moment

It is an absolute blessing to see your children excel as young adults. For those with younger children, think about how proud you are of them when they do well in school or sports ... then "double" that to appreciate the pride when they are fully independent and truly experiencing what you imagined or hoped for!

That is the awesome position my wife and I find ourselves -- especially for our oldest daughter who just marked another milestone achievement. The latest is her and her husband buying their first home as newlyweds in the Nashville, Tennessee area.  I was able to visit and "do my daddy diligence" to help them settle in and enjoy the upcoming years in their new home.  Congratulations Jaelin and Deandre, so proud!
