It has been a busy Fall for Isaiah Projects We have had some exciting times this fall as we have been fundraising, and continuing to connect with our missionaries, while also sending teams. We wanted to take a moment in this issue to highlight the ministry and work happening in Camaguey, Cuba. Our team lead, Mary has lead the team for several years and has provided a write up to summarize the great work that is going on there. Also, we have included a reflection from a team member, Sarah Campbell, who shares about her experiences on the team this year. We also wanted to share briefly about a few other key updates from across the organization. Check out our newsletter for this month to see what has been happening through the various iProjects ministries. Not yet signed up to receive our newsletter? Click here to sign up. |

Team Leader Report: Mary North I am very excited to share about the iProjects 2019 Cuba mission trip details!! There is so much each team member has been blessed by that is it is truly a challenge to summarize! Our hearts are overflowing with joy in light of all that God has done in and through us; and we will forever be grateful for the priceless relationships we were able to form there the team of 6 travelled to Camaguey Cuba to support the team in Cuba providing community outreach, equipping leaders, developing our ministry partnership, providing materials and support for 2 camps. New Hope Community Church youth Leaders worked alongside the Pastors and leaders in Camaguey to share God’s word with young children and youth through song, activities, prayer, and fellowship. The camps were a great success, both receiving over 125 campers. With the generosity of the New Hope global outreach program in their VBS and community donations, each camper received school supplies and lunch each day. Meeting the pastors and seniors who receive support through iProjects was a highlight of the trip as well. Some of the pastors live in remote areas, and this was a blessing to visit and hear how God is working in their communities. Two families who have opened their homes to host church services and groups in their homes have been blessed to build churches on locations that have been donated. What an amazing experience! iProjects is moving forward, already planning activities for summer 2020. We are blessed knowing the fruit of our time there with Rose and Carlos is the renewed and increased passion and boldness both teams receive as a result of an amazing time of ministry partnership we share together. |

Meet Rosario, Carlos and Family Carlos and Rosario joined the iProjects team in 2016, but have been missionaries for many years working alongside individuals who share their vision. Their hearts for God are quite apparent in the work they do. They share their passion for God's work with their 2 boys, who are also very active in the church, community and mission as well. Their work with iProjects is impacting the community and beyond! Beyond their Pastoral duties within their church community, Rose and Carlos connect monthly with many pastors, 10 who are supported through iProjects, provide bi-monthy Kids Club program, and monthly Senior lunch and social at their church. |

Reflections from a Team Member: I had a life changing opportunity to go to Cuba this past summer and serve with the incredible team in Camaguey! My words cannot even begin to express the love that expanded my heart because of the people we met, the city we worked in and the country we were welcomed into. One of the many highlights of this experience for me was seeing our Canadian team in a new environment. Everyone was out of their comfort zone in some way, serving the Lord with everything they have (including every drop of sweat). It was an amazing experience to work alongside the church, to support them in all the work they are doing for their community and to show each other, we're not doing this alone! We were able to spend our (short) time worshipping together, encouraging and praying for each other. I am beyond grateful for this trip to Cuba, and it is simply the beginning!
