Also known as Shvelisi, Chesnok Red holds the standard as a top producing Standard Purple Stripe hardneck garlic. Great flavor, large bulbs, and our longest storing hardneck variety. Chesnok Red is outstanding as a cooking garlic, especially valued for roasting where it retains its shape. We find it's a great all-purpse garlic and a favorite to eat raw (we like it dipped in peanut butter).

Your garlic order will ship out in October. Orders are shipped in the order they are recieved.
We do not ship our garlic until October, as many diseases and pathogens need time to fully present themselves. Garlic shipped too early may deteriorate before planting season, shipping later in the season allows for any underlying problems to present and be culled before shipping.
