Each year, an Annual Blossoms Blooming Brunch is held where young women, known as Blossoms, come together to celebrate and honor their mentors, Honorees, who have contributed to their academic, professional, emotional, and spiritual growth. Join us!

The Third Annual Blossoms Blooming Brunch is an exclusive event celebrating community mentors who might otherwise go unrecognized. This gathering is a unique opportunity for young women, called Blossoms, to honor their mentors, the Honorees, who have played pivotal roles in their personal and professional growth.

The event is an intimate, elegant affair where attendees dress to impress and enjoy a beautifully decorated venue with floral arrangements, balloons, and delicious catered food and drinks. A highlight of the brunch is the heartfelt ceremony, where Blossoms present their Honorees with iridescent glass awards, arranged bouquets, and moving appreciation speeches. Last year, the brunch saw 19 Blossoms, a significant increase from 7 in 2022, who are mostly college-educated women of color pursuing careers in fields like information technology, medicine, data analytics, engineering, and education. The 15 Honorees, also an increase from 10 in 2022, are primarily accomplished women of color with graduate degrees or higher, working as doctors, lawyers, business owners, and senior-level leaders, or enjoying retirement. The event brought together three generations of women from the East Coast to honor their contributions to each other’s lives.
