She's Going Places! So many of you support the mission of Esther’s Place of Grace, and we could not do this ministry without you! Thank you beyond words! We are delighted to share that we have secured a substantial grant from Lindsay Honda and The Energy Cooperative to contribute towards the purchase of a vehicle for use at Esther's Place home. With those grants and additional support, we were able to purchase a 2020 Honda CRV with low mileage! This will serve the needs of our organization and the women and families we assist for a long time to come.
Having a dedicated vehicle for our organization is so important, as it plays a crucial role in transporting clients to appointments, aiding in shopping, and facilitating job assignments. Up until now, we have relied on staff vehicles for such purposes, but it's clear that this approach is not sustainable in the long run. Empowering the women we work with by teaching them to drive and assisting them in obtaining a driver's license is a vital step toward fostering their independence and the well-being of their children. Acquiring our own vehicle for the home will enable us to accomplish this goal. THANK YOU MR. LINDSAY FOR YOUR GENEROUS DONATION MAKING IT POSSIBLE TO PURCHASE THIS BEAUTIFUL HONDA CRV FOR ESTHER’S PLACE OF GRACE! |

Room at the Inn At this time of year, we turn our thoughts to the plight of Mary, Joseph, and the birth of Jesus when they were in need of a room at the inn to stay so that Mary could give birth. Just as Christ's first earthly needs were for shelter, Esther's Place offers a "room at the inn" to expectant mothers with no welcoming place to stay during their pregnancy. Esther's Place is a clean, comfortable, and caring home where expectant moms come for rest, support, and healing and to think about and implement a new positive direction for their lives in order to care for themselves and their newborn. There is room at the inn here, and we offer this refuge right here in Newark, OH! Will you support these mothers and babies and help provide room at the inn this Christmas? |
|
|
Your support has enabled us to serve 27 mothers and their children since our opening in 2021, and now, more than ever, we rely on your assistance. The cost of the services to moms and newborns has increased with today's economy. Thank you for considering a contribution to provide a "room at the inn" right here in your hometown! Sincerely, Mary Dow, Director Esther's Place of Grace |

How Could We Ever... ....say a proper thank you for the vital and incredible work that our volunteers provide? Well truly, it is impossible to properly thank all of you who have volunteered your time and talent to Esther's Place of Grace. Volunteers work and walk alongside the ministry of Esther's Place of Grace to help in so many ways: mentoring, visiting, praying, providing meals, training, serving on the board, serving in unpaid office staff positions, fundraising assistance, home maintenance repairs and clean up, and organization both on the grounds and in the home. Esther's Place ministry has only two paid staff positions and could not accomplish all that keeps the home fires burning without the extra labor of our precious volunteers. We are so grateful for them. Their rewards may not always be seen in the immediate but rather are stored up as "treasures in heaven." However, we do try to show our thanks, which was done recently through a volunteer thank you dinner and fellowship get-together on Tuesday evening, December 12th at Esther's Place! THANK YOU TO ALL WHO VOLUNTEER AND CONTINUE TO SERVE AT ESTHER'S PLACE OF GRACE !!! |
