2023 Recital Costume photos and details can be found in your Parent Portal. Simply login then click on the "Class Resources" link under your dancers class. You'll find costume requirements for recital here along with other important info you'll need for Studio Picture Day, Dress Rehearsal & Recital! *NEW* this season ... we are distributing recital costumes in personal garment bags for your convenience. If you have received an email from the office stating your costumes are ready for pick-up please do so ASAP to help keep us organized! |
DRESS CODE: Please be sure your dancer is wearing appropriate dancewear. Ladies should wear a leotard and tights to ALL classes, including hip-hop and acrobatics. No t-shirts with bare midriffs please! We do recommend a light sweater to wear over your leotard during chilly months. |
PARKING LOT / CLEAN-UP: During snowy months, our parking lot may become a little tight. Any compact vehicles will best fit in the side closest to the building. Any larger truck or SUV will best fit on the outer portion of the lot nearest to the road. Please be sure to park diagonally along the divider. Do not park in the Staff Only section. Let's work together to keep the flow of the carpool pathway (pick-up & drop-off only). As we head into spring we recommend rain boots ... our parking lot tends to get a bit muddy in April! |

What will you treasure most about your time at ALDS? I will treasure all of the wonderful friends I've made and I will treasure how ALDS made me feel like a part of a family with friends and teachers. Began dancing at ALDS? I began dancing at ALDS when I was 6, roughly 2011. First dance routine(s) at ALDS? I started in Tap with a routine called "Funky Monkey" and I remember being so dedicated to that routine. I had to learn all the steps! What Is your favorite style of dance? Hip-Hop and Tap will always be my favorites. I started and grew up in Tap, and Hip-Hop has been there for just as long. What is your signature dance move? I have a part in my "Purple Hat" dance where I just groove, and I feel like the whole groove section screams "Josh!" What are your future plans? I plan on going to TTS this summer to train to be a teacher and I plan on continuing to teach dance at ALDS in the fall. |
