Have Items To Donate?

MacHub accepts donations of non-cash items and assets. We sell items at the highest value in a global marketplace. High sales prices maximize proceeds for the mission of MacHub and also tax benefits to donors.

Donations directly benefit the community through MacHub’s jobs program as donated products and passed through to help other nonprofit organizations that serve the common good.

 

All of this is made possible through donations made from:

  • Nonprofit Partners

  • Corporate Donors

 

At this time Personal/ Estate donations are by appointment only.

Schedule a Pick-Up

MacHub offers assistance with items you are unable to drop off. We offer 2 pick-up days per week and ask that you schedule with us several weeks in advance. 

 

MacHub Donation Pick-Ups:

To ensure that all donations are home-ready, we will inspect your donations as we pick them up. Please don’t take it personally! Having donations in ready-to-use condition helps us better serve our mission and our community. 

General Donation Guidelines:

  • Gently used and like new items accepted

  • All items must be safe, clean, and functional

  • Items must be in ready-to-use condition with all parts included

  • Upholstered items and mattresses must be free of stains, tears, and pet hair/odors

  • Items must be from a non-smoking home

 

All items scheduled for pick-up must be pre-approved by MacHub’s donation team. 

Approval may be done by sending pictures or with an in-person viewing. The MacHub pick-up team will only be able to pick up what is on their pre-approved pick-up list. Anything that is not on the list will be taken at the discretion of the driver and may need to have an additional pick-up scheduled for a later date (if the item(s) fit our condition guidelines). 

 

All items must be ready to go at the time of the pickup. Any small items, such as clothing, dishes, or other household goods, must be boxed up and all items must be located on the ground floor, readily accessible. If you need assistance with this, please let us know. In most cases, we may be able to offer assistance for a pre-negotiated fee.

What we currently are NOT able to accept:

  • Baby Items (cribs, beds, changing tables, high chairs, etc)

  • Large Bookshelf Style Beds

  • Large Entertainment Centers

  • Large Desks

  • Hide-A-Bed/ Sleeper Sofas

  • Bunk Beds

  • King Size Mattress and Bed Frame

  • Used Mattress Toppers

  • Pianos

  • Ex-Large China Hutches

  • Items That Need Repair or Cleaning

  • Doors, Light Fixtures, and Ceiling Fans

  • Toilets and Bathtubs

  • Other Overly Large or Heavy Items

While we sincerely appreciate your donated goods, cash donations are always accepted at the time of service.
