Hello, Dear Ones, I am excited to share that I am making some shifts to better align my actions with the energy of spring, renewal, growth, and a cyclical approach to my business. I recently trained and earned a new designation as a Parent Coach Specialist. I incorporate this new modality into my clients' private coaching sessions as needed or desired. In addition, I am in the process of designing stand-alone Parent Coaching workshops for professional groups and a Parent Coaching series that I will be offering to parent groups in the Portland metro area. I will be giving this new endeavor my creative energy therefore, I chose to pause publishing this monthly newsletter and blog. Follow me on LinkedIn, where I will continue to post and share updates. I look forward to staying connected. Please reach out if you, your organization, or someone you know could benefit from my Parent Coaching specialization. May each of you have the courage to make shifts in your life that align with the season of your heart! With Heartfelt Gratitude, Sarah |

4 Ways to Embrace Spring’s Energy When Winter is Still Hanging On As the winter weather melts away, we start seeing new signs of spring every day: The trees are beginning to form tiny buds, early flowers are blooming, and the beloved bulbs of spring are emerging from the cold, barren ground. Spring is a time for renewal, and just like the natural world around us, we, too, can embrace the energies of spring and create intentional steps to renew ourselves. I love spring as the planting season begins, with its bright colors and warmer sunny days. I also find this liminal period challenging, when winter intermittently takes hold of our days while spring is dutifully trying to emerge. Some days will feel wildly successful, while others may just be about getting through the day. Looking for ways to find your footing and feel grounded during this transition? |

Dr. Mira Reisberg Children's Book Academy Founder Creative Adventurer & Courageous Woman I am thrilled to introduce Mira, a new yet very dear friend. It was love at first sight for me, as it often is with strong, creative, and beautiful Pisces women! Mira has inspired and encouraged me to delve back into my creative sewing, painting, and knitting endeavors. We are hatching a plan to write a book about Heidi, my dear rescue pup, who still holds a special place in my heart. Below are some books she has published, some that Mira edited and art directed, and some of her talented student’s books. Do you have any of these on your shelf? |

My happy places include helping others, playing with language and art, and eating sushi. My PhD in Education and Cultural Studies, focused on children's books, helped me create the Children's Book Academy, where talented students have now published over 1,400 children’s books and won nearly every North American children’s book award. It really is a joy. I love this saying that I tweaked – “It’s never too late to have a happy childhood making children’s books.” It’s certainly been the case for me. After many travels, I currently live in a groovy old house in Portland, Oregon, with my loving husband and a seriously maladjusted cat. Click the button below to learn more about the Children's Book Academy, Receive a lovely free 7-day course in making kid's books and connect with me on social media! |
