Welcome to the first edition of the Goldfields Pride Newsletter! In this issue find access to Youth Week Events, hear about the forming of 'Goldfields Parents with Pride' and find out how to become a Goldfields Pride Member!

Youth Week Events

Join Goldfields Prides very own Kit to learn the basics of writing poetry, and finish the evening with a poetry slam.
Held at Kalgoorlie PCYC, on the 17th of April from 5:30-7:30pm, this workshop is open for young LGBTQIA+ people and allies aged 12-25. Snacks and drinks provided.

The Art Workshop is back again, hosted by Fox and Fawn. The workshop will focus on wearable art.
Held at Artgold in Boulder, on the 20th of April from 3-5pm, this workshop is open for young LGBTQIA+ people and allies aged 12-25. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

PRIDE Queer Film Festival
The PRIDE Queer Film Festival Returns to Kalgoorlie from Saturday 6th of May to Sunday the 7th of May. Held at Stage Left Theatre (61B Burt St, Boulder), immerse yourself for an evening and get a glimpse into what is queer culture with the Australian premier of number of short films!
Join us on Opening Night for drinks and finger food beforehand.

Planning for KB PrideFest 23 is now underway! With sell out events such as Drag Bingo and Out of the Closet returning, along with a number of new additions for businesses and the community, coupled with youth favourites such as the Poetry Slam, there really is something for everyone!
