Hello CCCHS Members! Our committees have been hard at work making plans for this spring! We’re happy to report the Rose Cologne Volunteer Recognition Dinner will be back at the Penn Stater on April 27. Everyone is excited to honor this year’s volunteers and more information will be available soon. We are looking for several community sponsors for support of our amazing event. We are trying to keep costs affordable for all attendees although the cost has gone up significantly since our last dinner. We also remain committed to continue to cover the meals of our volunteers as we have done in the past. If your organization or another community partner would be interested in sponsoring, please reach out to committee chair Renae Schunk at rschunk@stpaulsc.org for more information. The Training & Education Committee has once again collaborated with Adult Children of Aging Parents (ACAP) of Centre County to provide a spring training on Wednesday, April 5. This training will be applicable to EVERYONE personally and professionally regardless of age. Wendy Weaver of Weaver Wireless will present on “Maximizing Technology to Improve the Quality of Life for Ourselves, Our Clients and Our Loved Ones.” This training will begin at 9 AM and then you can stay for our monthly membership meeting at 12 PM. Lunch will be provided! The training is FREE to CCCHS Members! Also, our early bird membership discount is over on February 28! Make sure you have paid your dues to take advantage of all of our 2023 member benefits including nominating a volunteer to be recognized! Melissa Bottorf PA Link CCCHS President 2023 |
