Hello everyone,
I hope you are all safe and feeling more positive with the latest lifting of some restrictions.
March and April provided more bookings than I had anticipated, the majority being for 2022, with the first quarter being extremely popular; I even have bookings going into 2023.
With offers for next year and onwards, more flexibility, and low deposits, it certainly helps with peace of mind and so many of us want to plan and have something to look forward to.
This was certainly the case for me, booking a 3-bedroom villa in Cyprus with my husband, children, and their partners for next May. We have never experienced a European villa holiday and decided that having spent so little time together over the last year, this would be a great way to catch up on some much-needed quality family time. I can’t wait!
Although the eagerly awaited traffic light update for travel to and from the UK was a little anti-climactic, there is a more optimistic outlook for summer holidays on the horizon, with more destinations hopefully being added to the green list over the coming weeks - but it is not as straightforward as we would have hoped.
The picture will change as time progresses and I will of course be keeping up to date with the very latest information and guidance for those wishing to travel sooner rather than later.
After the latest announcement, my industry associates at Travel Gossip have produced a very helpful graphic.
