Welcome once again to our Open Forum where we examine the challenges of walking our Spiritual Path ... and nowhere is it more demanding than in our present times ...

As Light grows dim ... what do you see ?

I have often been accused of being too much of an ‘idealist’, of asking leaders to be superior - or at least better than common folks - of holding those in a position of authority accountable to higher standards and expect them to have manners to match ... and to all this I will openly admit - “Yes, I do all that ... and more”.

And now many of my [past] friends would shake their heads and say things like –

“What ? are you still looking for King Arthur !? ...Do you really believe all this nonsense about courtesy and chivalry will get you anywhere ?... Why don’t you wake up and live in this world ... It’s a dog-eat-dog out there, and you’d better get on with the program - or just give up and get left behind”

It’s at this point that I asked myself why I should think of them as ‘friends’ ... After all, if their beliefs are NOT my truth, then I’m just wasting time being with them ... surely there are others out there that do not blindly accept such platitudes ... [aren’t there ?]

And so I searched and researched, looking everywhere for a deeper truth, an insight to human consciousness - indeed I was on a ‘Quest’ 

[and those of you who’ve spent time with me well know that I really love Quests !]

Well - do you want the good news, or the bad ?

The good news is that, yes, there are those ‘out there’ who have learned how to think for themselves, and know how to question - they are the true Seekers who refuse to accept the platitudes offered by those who would make you believe that they know better, and you should blindly accept what they’re telling you... or will quickly chastise you for questioning ...

[My favorite idiocy is when they bluntly get in your face and tell you NOT to question your Faith, for that makes you a bad person ... and if that isn’t a red flag that they’re hiding something, I don’t know what is ... But I digress ...]

So, yes - there are quite a few strong individuals that have been taught to question intelligently and discover a Higher Truth, AND use this knowledge wisely to live accordingly.

The bad news is that the rest simply do not care - they choose to believe the simplistic propaganda that is being spewed everywhere, and are blind to the consequences they are creating [not only for themselves but also for their own children] ... They only see the present, and refuse to consider the future they are creating.

They believe that “It’s not their job to fix it... that’s what Authority is for...”  Unfortunately it doesn’t work that way... remember - All it takes for Evil to succeed is for Men and Women of goodwill to do nothing...

The time of action is now - do not waste effort in pointing a finger, accusing this or other Abuser of Power to be the cause of destruction. Do not waste time in the negative, but do what you can to make this a better world [even if it is a simple smile, or a prayer for Divine Light and Justice to prevail]... Live as the Light you truly are ...

Here’s what I really wanted to remind you all - that little thing we call Karma ...

We will - all - be held accountable to the Karma we are creating and promoting... So if you are one of the many who are abusing your authority and promoting conflict and separation, I’ll remind you of the teachings of the Master - “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”... and such you are creating for yourself.

Oh yes, and to the rest of us ‘idealists’ the same Karmic rule applies - As you have done to others, so you shall receive ... [Man, I love Karma ! the fiercest teacher out there]

And with that I greet you all with great appreciation that we are walking this Path of Light together ... Namaste

About your Facilitator

Mario C. Veo

Mario was born in Italy and grew up in Africa. From a young age he had deep and personal experiences with Spirit and Higher Beings, often communicating with departed souls. His quest for understanding this greater reality led him to seek out Masters and Spiritual Teachers from around the world. He has traveled extensively throughout India, studying and in pilgrimage, always seeking to refine his training. He is a Spiritual Counselor and Healer, a senior T’ai Chi and Chi Gong instructor, Feng Shui Master, and Shaman Initiate. 

Mario is in private practice in Denver where he teaches Spiritual and Metaphysical classes, and guides Seekers on their personal Path of Transformation and Empowerment.
