We are counting on you!

Our Fall in the Forest with Winnie the Pooh & Friends event was FUN FOR ALL! Over the 2-day event, area families joined in the fun and food, supporting Pegasus Springs, and also bidding on our live auction items! We still have many remaining for Christmas gift giving:

Sadie, our Equicizer arrived last week! Learn all about retired horse racing jockey, Frankie Lovato designed this amazing tool over 30 years ago!

Many remember our Sadie, our founder, Barb's first horse, who along with Shelby, was the inspiration behind our organization! We are blessed to have a tool like this to assist our clients that aren't ready for a live horse, but receive all the benefits with a focused plan of care. Sadie also can carry more weight than our 'live' horses, and we will also perform assessments on our clients to gauge range of motion, etc. prior to mounting a live horse.

Our volunteer PT Jill, and OT Carol, are eager to help clients with neuro-muscular disorders, or those of us needing help with flexibility and strength. Sadie will be in our indoor activity room, which will be ready in later Winter/early Spring!

Sadie was made possible by a grant from the KFC Foundation!

From Team Pegasus

to Your Family....

We've been very pleased with how our Stable Moments program is going! Since October, we have had 5 mentors and kids out on a weekly basis to work in the barn, groom the horses, and learn about themselves as they become familiar with their dedicated mentor and horse.

MDHHS has reached out to us, as well as alternative schools in the area. If you have any questions, please contact us to enroll a youth in our program.
