ReVision Energy Supports the NH New Americans Loan Fund Through Tax Credit Purchase |
We're pleased to share that ReVision Energy has purchased $12,500 in tax credits to benefit the NH New Americans Loan Fund Tax Credit program. REDC’s Tax Credit Award, from New Hampshire's Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA), allows NH businesses to contribute funds to community development projects. ReVision Energy’s tax credit donation will support REDC’s NH New Americans Loan Fund, which provides access to technical assistance and loans to first-generation Americans who are prospective or current business owners throughout the state. |

Daniel Clapp, Co-Founder of ReVision Energy, stated, “It is important for all business owners to have equitable access to capital to invest in their business. We truly appreciate the work REDC has done to ensure New Americans have the necessary resources they need, resulting in a stronger local economy that benefits all of us. We look forward to continuing to support REDC in this important initiative.” ReVision Energy began providing solar power to REDC in 2017, after installing additional solar panels to the roof of REDC’s Training Center in Raymond, NH, bringing the total solar array to 18.6kw. This resource has helped REDC save money and participate in utilizing a renewable resource. REDC President Laurel Adams stated, “We deeply appreciate this tax credit purchase by ReVision Energy and thank them for helping us continue to support new Americans in the Granite State. Additionally, REDC is proud to have solar energy on its building and has enjoyed working with ReVision Energy to offset electricity with a renewable resource. It has been a wonderful partnership and we look forward to working with ReVision Energy for many years to come.” Microloans made from the NH New American Loan Fund are used for working capital, equipment acquisition, inventory, and renovations. In addition to microloans, part of what makes clients successful is REDC’s robust technical assistance, which can include discussing business plan development, business financials, partnerships, financial packaging recommendations, exporting and importing support, market research help, employee guidance, and marketing and graphic design startup support.
