Welcome to December's Newsletter! High-five for beasting those November workouts! You're all absolute fitness rockstars, and I'm so proud of your dedication to stretch, sweat and strengthen as Hummingbirds with me. Let's keep this momentum going all the way to Christmas! 🎄🎁🎉

....AND it's kicked off..the festive season is officially here with parties galore and lots of socialising, so below is my "Christmas Survival Kit!" So remember....


CHRISTMAS SURVIVAL TIPS

C Carry water with you at all times to stay hydrated
H Have a colourful plate of healthy foods with each meal

R Reduce sugar and processed food intake whenever you can

I Issue yourself rewards for being healthy (set up a money jar & add to it for each healthy thing you do and then treat yourself to a manicure or new book)

S Snack on healthy foods such as nuts, seeds, almond butter, fruit, veg, humus etc

T Take that extra time to recharge your batteries and relax!

M Move often, walk, dance, run...exercise...just keep moving
A Ask a friend to join you on a daily walk..nattering is so good too!

S Sleep when you can

MYTH: Arnold Swartzneigher.....bulking up...?! FORGET those thoughts - it's not going to happen! Ladies, we have different hormones! 🎉

We won't bulk up, but we will TONE & be STRONGER and look after our bodies for longer!

Why Should I Strengthen?
As women we go through physical changes in our lives which, if we don't take note and do something about these changes, we increase our chances of developing osteoporosis and fractures.

TRUTH : Weight-bearing exercises have been shown to improve bone density and reduce the risk of osteoporosis as we age!

We must unleash our inner power ladies! Every squat, pushup, shoulder press, tricep kick back gives you strength and tones our beautiful bodies! AGAIN NO you won't look bulky, you will tone and shape your arms, legs, bottoms etc... Ladies, we CAN, and we SHOULD be lifting weights like a boss!

I know I talk about staying strong, but it's actually not only just about getting stronger physically; it's also about feeling empowered and confident. So here's to you ladies, breaking a sweat, embracing the grind, and showing the world what true strength looks like💥.
