KESKUS construction update - Annex residents keen to help! |
|
|
Construction on the KESKUS site continues while the construction trades, having settled their various strike negotiations, return to construction sites across Toronto. Focus during this time was redirected to the heritage building part of KESKUS, 11 Madison, with paint removal and condition assessment. Keeping an eye on matters on-site in the photo above, is KESKUS co-op student Rei Carcani. The surrounding neighbourhood called "The Annex" has a residents' association which sent out an appeal for bricks to keep the restoration efforts local. Read the ARA's appeal here. |
