A VERY PROMISING DISCOVERY Eli Lilly's Alzheimer's drug shows promise! It is an experimental drug, called Donanemab. For the two-year trial, Lilly recruited participants based on brain scans rather than symptoms. Each participant showed significant accumulations of plaque. "This is what we've been waiting for, a clean, positive study with a drug that adequately covers the target." Those who took this new drug showed a massive decline in plaque and it did not return! As we drove from the cabin to the vet, I kid you not, a massive rainbow’s-end followed us from Dollar Hill, all the way to National Ave in Tahoe Vista. In other words, Marco allowed me to walk with him part way over his rainbow bridge. |
