I launched something exciting into the universe today: a series of online kidlit courses designed to teach both new and established writers about the craft and business of children's books. Each one is a little intro video of me and then a narrated, in-depth presentation on each of these topics:
*PERFECTING YOUR PICTURE BOOK, a 45-minute masterclass in picture book revision. In this online course, you’ll learn how to edit and revise your own picture book manuscript draft.
*PICTURE BOOK BASICS, a FREE 15-minute course on the fundamentals of the picture book genre, like page count, word count, age range, etc.
*KNOCKOUT KIDLIT QUERY LETTERS is coming in early 2021. This will be an online course on how to write a query letter and create a succinct & satisfying pitch for your children's book manuscript.
