The Nevada NIBRS Project has made great progress in 2018. Read below to see the latest project news, events and accomplishments...

NIBRS Funding
Limited funding will be made available to all Nevada agencies through a set aside of JAG funding for federal fiscal year 2018 and potential future years.
 
Agencies will follow a fund application process that is TBD by Office of Criminal Justice Assistance (OCJA).

Project Update
Contract awarded to vendor, Beyond 20/20, to build Nevada’s first data repository for UCR Reporting
The Data Repository will go online September 2018 for testing
The Spillman server upgrade and data migration have been completed
Nevada Offense Code (NOC) file is being updated to associate each offense that occurs within a crime incident to the appropriate NIBRS code(s)
Welcome Nicole Lubich, the new UCR Program Supervisor

Technical Specification 3.0 Review Meetings
NIBRS Technical Specifications have been updated with changes to both FBI and State requirements.
Please plan to attend one of the review meetings being held Tuesday May 29th 10AM, or Thursday June 7th 10AM.
