What is the Student Stewards Program?

Our Student Stewards Program helps to address the unfortunate link between high rates of poverty and low test scores in Washoe County. The program improves science education in our community and helps prepare students for success in college and careers in science. The program also allows children to be outside in nature, which promotes physical health, curiosity, exploration, and a sense of appreciation for their parks.

With your support, Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation can continue this program free of charge to low income schools in Reno, Sparks, and Washoe County.
