A lovely story about Reiki and why not nourish your skin after this sublime summer and before we have to put the heating on...

I asked her whether she had ever used Reiki on him and encouraged him to do so.  Children diagnosed with autism can respond really well to Reiki, massage and craniosacral therapy.

She messaged me later that evening and was really wowed by what had happened!  She said that she started to do Reiki on him and he turned to her, looked into her eyes and said Nan Nan Nan!   Although he does sometimes say words or sounds they are not used appropriately or in context.  On this occasion she really felt he was talking to her with recognition.  In her words, "it was a bit lovely...".

On the way home he fell asleep and this is apparently unheard of - his mum couldn't believe it!  His grandmother also said that his behaviour very rarely changes.  And of course I've encouraged her to keep using Reiki on hi as much as she can.

The Thai massage is carried out fully clothed and is a wonderful way to release tension and open up the body's energy lines.
