Will you please pray for our travels, especially with baby Cornelius? Pray he do well on the 9+ hour flight from Venice to NYC.
Also, praise God for a man named Gianluigi who contacted us through our tracts. He found one at a laundry mat where he takes linens for his B&B. He was saved in 1996 in Rome and delivered from a drug addiction. Since his arrival in the Mestre area in 2003 he has struggled to find a healthy church community and has been praying constantly to the Lord. The communities he did find ended up talking mostly about money and had no firm doctinal base at all. Very sad, after all we cannot love God if we do not know Him and we cannot know Him without His word and sound healthy doctrine.
We met in the piazza to talk. We ended praying together and embracing. I came to tears as I was reminded by his story the reality that Italians face because the church is almost non-existent here.
