/ Observations, conversations, om’s tests _ b.3 - 05/2015
It was a hard working May. We made a few observations during the conference in Sztutowo (“Between interpretation and creation. Negotiating of the meanings in (no)places of (no)memories”), symposium in Poznań (“Transdisciplinary Symposium of Quality Research”) and at the exposition at WRO (16th Media Art Biennale WRO 2015 “Test Exposure”). We recognized the non-invasive archeological achivements presented by Kornelia Kajda representing UAM using the aeronautic laser scanning. In Sztutowo we listened to the speeches
of Prof. Maria Lewicka, Prof. Wojciech Burszta and Natalia Krzyżanowska which made us philisophise upon our identity regarding (no)places of (no)memories. Communication of the historical remittance
in the era of the new media, its semantics and the understanding of the past against the background humans’ experiences and their current attitude occurred to be the main issues being considered during the conference in Stutthof Museum. Our attention was also paid to the research methods of Marta Gruszecka from UAM (the text network analysis method) and Prof. Małgorzata Fabiszak (the gesture analysis
in the oral remittance as a part of language communication). The Symposium in Poznań let us learn about
the activities of Paulina Markiewicz from the Nerupsychology Laboratory at WSG in Bydgoszcz.
We are recommending the Internet site which refers to the Syphosium: Transdisciplinary Quality Reserchers’ Network. While our stay in Wrocław we recorded a few interesting sounds and images
that come from the exhibition “Test Exposure” mainly. Our attention was also paid to the subject lectures given at WRO Biennale “What can art give to science?”e.g. (photos - Test Exposure: Daniel Jolliffe’s installation, TAPE_BOOK César Escudero Andaluz’s installation/ om Foundation archives).
