December 2018 Edition

Vision:  Explore! Excite! Empower!

Dear Mayfair family and friends,

Can you believe that December is already here?! There is a bit of jolly and cheer all around campus.  We are thrilled to have so many events this month with concerts, field trips, and parties!  We hope to see many of you on campus to share in these festivities.

Also this month we have midterms for our upper grades and lots of tests for our lower grades.  So amidst all the hustle and bustle please remember that a good night's sleep and a healthy breakfast help our learners to be and do their best!

Should you have any questions after reading information in this letter, please send an email to help@mayfairlabschool.com. We are glad to assist.

Thank you for your continued commitment and dedication to your child’s education!

Middle School Exam Schedule

Greetings Mayfair family,

I am so grateful for the overwhelming amount of support from you.  So many of you have stopped me to let me know about a resource or connection you have that you would be willing to share.  In order to keep up with all of your amazing offers of time, talent, and materials, please help me by completing the google form linked below.  I will use the information to connect you with the group, class, or teacher who can utilize you the most.  We will be contacting you as a connection is made between your offer and a need we have.  Our main focus right now will be in developing the bank of contacts. So some of you may be contacted right away and others may not be needed until later in the year or over the summer.

Love,

Mrs. Hand

Examples of resources:

- I work at an office and we have a lot of cardboard boxes that we could donate.

- My brother is a chemist and would be willing to demonstrate the importance of lab safety to middle schoolers.

- My neighbor is a master gardener and would be willing to do her service hours at Mayfair.

Please note that filling out the form is NOT a commitment but rather an indication of interest.
