Summer Conference Recap

July 16 and 17 was a wonderful time for string teachers to collaborate and learn from one another during the Colorado ASTA Summer Conference at the beautiful Lamont School of Denver. We had 40 participants who enjoyed wonderful sessions from in-state presenters, ate a delicious Indian buffet lunch, and our silent auction raised over $1000 for the Student Summer Program Scholarship Fund. Thank you to our exhibitors: Golden Music, Sol Vista Violins, and American International Travel.

Congratulations to Leanne Griffey, recipient of an Exemplary Teaching Award!

A huge thank you also to Linda Wang and the Lamont School of Music for graciously hosting us!
