The Magic Pony is back! This is Beth and her mini, Magic, at the recent Columbus, NC clinic. This is the second time I've worked with them. Look at the freedom in his movement! I can't say I get all the credit, my friend Cerice Berndsen co-teaches these lessons with me. I don't know enough about driving but I know this looks good! Since our first lessons together back in the fall, Beth and Magic have won every dressage test they've entered. Amazing to me that Rider Biomechanics apply to Driver Biomechanics too! I can see why her scores have improved! Do you remember the original pictures from September? The one on the left is Day 1 before any changes. On the right, is Day 2. |

Nancy Conley and Truly Unsurpassed Here is the pair racking up more points while showing at Level 3. First show at that level, scores of 66.9, 70.2, & 69.1 were high enough to earn the points needed to get her WDAA Gold Medal. They still have to show in two more tests to have the qualifying number of rides but once again, this team is NUMBER ONE in the Nation! So very proud of their accomplishments. Nancy is a dedicated horsewoman who puts in the time and effort required to excel. I owe my interest in Western Dressage to Nancy! I can't promise you results like this, but I can help you improve your test scores!

Picture Analysis I would love to have some of you send in pictures to be analyzed. Everyone can learn from it. People enjoy being able to see what it is I am" fixing" in the rider. You would get a free sample of my teaching by being brave enough to send me a pic! This is Alicia, we are at the clinic in Columbus, NC. I am working on getting her more forward within her own body, aiming for a neutral spine and vertical alignment. Her tendency is to lean back slightly, stretch her legs down too much, and end up with a low hollow in her back. Can you see all of that in the picture? Alicia's mare is a lovely powerful young horse who encourages Alicia to end up in this position. Unfortunately, I don't have any after pictures to show the difference in both Alicia and the horse, but they got spectacular!
