August Newsletter

Hello church communication leaders! Here are a few items to help you in your role as a communicator for your church. Email us with any questions!

BAND

A few months ago, we were asked to recommend a free service for blast communication for churches, such as mass texting, calling, etc. There are many to choose from, however they all cost money, and sometimes that isn't an option for smaller churches. Then we ran across an app called BAND. With BAND, you can set up a secret group which your congregation can join, and the push notifications will send information directly to their phone or desktop. It works similar to Facebook, but because it is private, it works well for this application. You can even send out an event calendar with reminders. The best part about it...its FREE!!
