Hector “Papote” Jimenez has the soul of an old sonero and has been described as “an up and coming sonero of the 21st Century” who channels the spiritual voices and phrases of the great Latino singers such as Benny Moré, Ismael Rivera and Hector LaVoe. Having recorded as lead vocalist with Zon Del Barrio, Chino Nuñez, Gilberto “Pulpo” Colón, and background vocals with N’KLABE and Our Latin Thing, and most recently with Lower East Salsa and currently Los Hacheros, Papote now leads his own orchestra and has become a sensation in Colombia where he is called “EL SONERO - PREGONERO DEL BARRIO.” Famed Puerto Rican journalist Jaime Torres Torres named Papote as “one of the young soneros to watch in 2017.”

Born in the city of Newark N.J. from Puerto Rican parents and raised in Puerto Rican Culture and Heritage, Javier Galarza was always inspired by Salsa and Latin Rhythms. As a musician and vocalist, he has worked with some of the greats in Latin music, to include Celia Cruz, Santitos Colon, Adalberto Santiago, Los Hermanos Moreno, Raulin Rosendo, Hector Tricoche, and more. Javier has formed his own management company, Galamanagement Music Productions.
