Using Online Photos

Photos you find online using an image search are usually copywrited, and therefore illegal to use in your publications. Many photo services are cracking down on those using their images illegally, and you could be hit with a big fine. But don't despair: there are many free and inexpensive stock photo options available these days.

But if you don't find the specific image you are looking for...just grab your camera, head out there and create the photo you want!

Newsletters

Newsletters are a great way to keep your members informed, whether with a printed newsletter or an electronic one (e-newsletter). But newsletters can be intimidating. Deciding what to include and how often to publish can be difficult, especially if your church doesn't have enough events or activities to produce a monthly newsletter. Perhaps a quarterly newsletter is your best bet. We encourage you to give it a try, as it helps to unite your church and keep important matters in the minds of your members.

To get you started, below is a video tutorial on creating a print newsletter using Microsoft Word. Enjoy!

e-Newsletters

If you're more of an online church, an e-newsletter might be the way to go. There are several online newsletter services that are cost friendly. MailChimp has tiered plans. The basic plan allows 2,000 subscribers and 12,000 e-mailings a month for FREE! If your church does not have that many members, then you could potentially send out more than one e-newsletter a month for free without having to upgrade to a paid plan.

The Last Day in Prophecy

(Formerlly "Prophecy's Last Day")

We want to make sure you’re aware of two related evangelism events coming up very soon: Evangelism IMPACT 2016 on January 8-10 (hurry, registration ends January 4) and The Last Day of Prophecy in March, both featuring Doug Batchelor. Check the Conference website and the Carolina Action for more information. Below is a promotional video for the Last Day of Prophecy.
