To all our Seed Members
Welcome to the expanding community in support of the Clipper City Co-op!
We want to personally Thank You for investing in the vision of a community owned grocery center committed to healthy eating, education and promotion of sustainable, locally grown food. We have a token of our appreciation, hand crafted by a local vendor to commemorate what we believe is a historic moment in the history of the Clipper City Co-op.
Your seed membership is helping to move the project to the next stage of development, providing match funds from a $10,000 grant from the Food Co-op Initiative, awarded in June to Clipper City Co-op to help finance the marketing/feasibility study.
To honor the commitment of our first 50 seed members, the committee of Clipper City Co-op will recognize you and the other new seed members at our next open meeting schedule on September 28th at 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm at the Wellness Center (HFM in Manitowoc) in the Cooperstown room.
Please join us! We look forward to your participating at our open meeting. New members will be provided an overview of our progress and offered ways to participate in work groups or community engagement.

A personal note from me, Kitty....
We have quite a momentum going on here! All the Steering Committe members are out getting new Seed Members every day - it's very exciting!!
To continue this excitement, we are turning the Open Meeting on the 28th into a real celebration. We will welcome and thank all our current Seed Members - hopefully get some NEW ones at the meeting!! - AND we will have some munchies and a special food offered by a local farm, Tom Tittl from Hemlock Ridge Organic Farms!!
So we really hope as many of you can come as possible. Bring a friend - bring a neighbor - any one who may be interested or have any questions about our new Co-op.
