Parents are strongly encouraged to stay for Pack meetings (parents of Lion and Tiger scouts must stay). |

$4 Walking Taco Meal Deal prior to the Oct. 25 Pack Meeting Let the Webolos I Den handle dinner for you and your family on a busy night! These scouts have planned a balanced menu and learned about budgeting. Soon, they will shop for the ingredients and prepare the food (with help from adults). Lastly, they’re hoping to make some sales before families attend the Pack Meeting on Oct. 25. Their stand will be conveniently located at Good Shepherd. The $4 meal deal includes a Walking Taco (Fritos, taco meat) and toppings, a small water, and dessert / Available between 6:00 and 6:20 / Cash or Check accepted. |

Popcorn and Prize Orders Popcorn orders and prize orders are due this Thursday, October 25th! I must submit the Pack's order first thing Friday morning, so there can be absolutely no extensions or late orders accepted. You do not need to wait until Thursday to submit your oder. If it is ready sooner, please send it as soon as possible. One final question that has come up that relates to prizes and siblings. Siblings may combine their popcorn orders, show & sell credits and on-line sales to request a prize (or prizes) that will be shared between them. |
|
|
Orders can be submitted in two ways: 1) Send an e-mail to cubscouts375@gmail.com (preferred method) 2) Submit copies of your order forms at the Pack Meeting. Do NOT submit your original order forms. For either method, I will need the following informtaion: |
|
- Total number of units ordered for each product
- Total value for the order (I will use this as a double check when I enter your order into the system)
- Prize number and description for each prize requested. The total value for the requested prizes must not exceed the total value of your popcorn order + show & sell credit + on-line sales
- If you sold more than $400, please include the sizes reqested for your (2) Special Edition Tye Died Pack 375 Class B t-shirts.

See the next section for information about placing orders. |

Scoutbook.com I just did a spot check and discovered that very few parents have updated their contact information in Scoutbook. This is bad people! We (the leaders) need that information for all Scouts and parents at our finger tips quickly, in one location in the event of an emergency. This is one of the huge advantages of Scoutbook! Please! This will take you less than 5 minutes: |
|
|
- Go to Scoutbook.com
- Click on the "Logon" button in the top right corner of the screen.
- Enter the e-mail address & password you created when you verified you're a account. (If you have not verified your account, see below)
- Once logged in, click on "My Dashboard"
- Once in your Dashboard, click on "My Account"
- The 3rd option should be "Edit Profile" click on that.
- Please enter this information as completely as possible.
- While there, please "Activate / Verify" your mobile phone on the system. This will allow us to send a text message in the event of an emergency. I promise, we will not use this feature unless it is for an urgent message.
- When you are complete, click on "Update."
|
|
If you have not activated your Scoutbook account there are three methods you could use to complete that process: - Look for the original invitation that was sent to you. That will have instructions and a temporary password to activate your account.
- Go to the Logon screen and click "forgot password. I believe that will send you a new temporary password that you can use to activate your account.
- If all else fails, send an e-mail to cubscouts375@gmail.com. I will have Scoutbook send you a new invitation e-mail.
|
|
|
Bonus Points Please consider uploading a picture of your Scout to their Scoutbook.com profile, and a picture of you to your profile. This will help new leaders learn everyone's name and face. The pictures will only be visible to leaders, so hopefully that will alleviate any privacy concerns. |

Volunteers STILL Needed Pinewood Derby Pitt Crew and Pitt Crew Leader We are looking for some parents to help prepare for our Pinewood Derby competition in February. Parents who have helped with this in the past, but who's Scouts are no longer in the Pack have volunteered to help us set up this year, but we will need some new parents to learn how everything works and how to run the race for upcoming years. Blue & Gold Committee We are looking for a group of parents to organize our annual Blue & Gold Banquet in March. We have had one parent volunteer to help, but we need more people to help. If you are interested in any of these positions, or have any questions about them, please see Joe Zanghi. |
