Stop banging on doors that are closed. They're most often closed for a reason. We may not like the fact that they're closed. It may not be fair that they're closed. In a perfect world, they may still be open.

We've all wasted time before. We've all wasted money. We've all squandered opportunities. We've all been the not-best version of ourselves, sometimes for prolonged periods of time. Being the not-best version of yourself, making mistakes, making poor decisions, even when you could have made better ones, even when it's "your fault," even when there's "no excuse"...it happens to everyone.
