Squashed in Salem
Thank you to everyone who sent letters and called our Senators
in support of SB 929, Oregon's Pollinator Protection Act.
On Monday, April17, the bill was dropped in the Senate Committee
for Environment and Natural Resources, meaning the bill died without a vote!
Tell your legislators - of both parties - you are not happy with this outcome
and that we need their help to save Oregon's bees.

Buzzin' and Howlin' in Salem!
Pollinator Project Rogue Valley represented at the Water and Wildlife Rally
on Wednesday, April 19! It was a good crowd and great messages!
Thanks to Rep. Pam Marsh and Rep. David Gomberg for their
support and participation.
We need more leaders like them who will take a stand for the environment.
Enjoy the video and see pictures below.

Pollinators' Pick
A very well-written story in the most recent edition of the online
Audubon magazine covers the current, on-the-ground research about the impact neonicotiniods are having on birds and acquatic creatures.
