Drink Water 

 

Water is essential for good health and helps in so many ways. It aids with weight loss, removes toxins, increases energy, relieves fatigue, prevents cramps, keeps you regular and improves your complexion. Keep a bottle with you and make sure you're drinking at least 64 ounces per day. 

 

Get Moving

 

Regular exercise is great for all of us and the benefits are plenty. Exercise has been shown to reduce the signs of aging, keeps your heart healthy, reduces the risk of some diseases, helps you maintain a healthy weight and can boost your mood. If you already exercise regularly, challenge yourself by finding ways to change it up. 

 

Eat Whole Grains

 

Aside from giving us energy, whole grains are great for our bodies in other ways. The fiber in them helps us to feel fuller longer and to stay regular. Whole grains can help lower your risk of heart disease, aid in keeping your blood pressure in check and supports weight loss. They are also a good source of B vitamins and some essential minerals.

 

Eat Lean Protein

 

Protein is the building block for our muscles, bones, cartilage, skin and blood. It can also aid in weight loss and improve brain function.  Eggs, beans, nuts, chicken, turkey, beef and wild fish are all good sources of lean protein.

Eat Your Fruits & Veggies

 

There is no doubt about the health rewards from eating fruits and vegetables. They are low in fat and calories, contain fiber, vitamins, nutrients, antioxidants and help protect us against many chronic diseases. When you make your choices, think "Rainbow" and you can't go wrong. Eat fruit and vegetables in all colors, the darker the better and you will reap the rewards!

Cleanse Your Body

 

A cleanse is a great way to detoxify and reset your body. We consume tons of chemicals, without even knowing it, from our food and environment. Many people are at toxin overload and dismiss the symptoms to "every day fatigue" and thinking it's the new normal or "just the way I always feel". A cleanse can eliminate toxicity and reduce inflamation so your organs can function properly. It will also increase energy, improve digestion, aid in weight loss, and decrease congestion making you feel better and function more efficiently on a daily basis.
