Audit Committee NEEDED for MRBC 2015-2016 Club

We need 3 current MRBC members to serve on the audit committee for our compliance with LISD and our Bylaws.  It's a straightforward quick volunteer opportunity that helps the club TREMENDOUSLY!

• This committee would meet after the closing of our bank statement of June 18, 2016 at a time convenient for the committee. 
• There is a checklist and standard report used by the audit committee and the documentation will be in a binder for ease of review. 
• The meeting should take no longer than a couple of hours.

McKamy Robotics Year-End Celebration

Wow! What a wonderful evening our Student Officers hosted last week for all our members and their families to celebrate an amazing year for McKamy Robotics! 

Thank you for the Pizza, Cake, MRC Accomplishment Highlights, Team Slide Show, VEX "Starstruck" 2016-17 Challenge overview and winding down of the year announcements shared by Student Officers and graduating 8th grade members!

Special Recognition was given to Mr. Blalack our McKamy Sponsor, Mr. Szydlik our FMHS Mentor, our Team Parent Mentors (see picture below), MRBC Board (Maureen Martin, Lisa Hein, Luna Bhaskar and Dana Marshall) and Student Officers (Kush Garg, Sloan Davis, Mahima Ravi and Mahek Kakkar)

MRC Teams for 2016-2017

Parent Mentors, McKamy Sponsors and the MRBC Board have met and formed the teams for 2016-2017! 

Teams begin on June 1st and will be able to work on their strategy and design over the summer, so hit the floor running in September :)

Be on the lookout for an email from your Parent Mentors for an introduction meeting with students and parents from your team.
