Empty Frames Initiative is a new endeavor that looks to empower orphans aging out of state care to tell their stories and find hope in Christ.

Empty Frames Initiative launched November 5th, at the Together for Adoption Conference in Durham, NC! This event was a collection of adoption / orphan care advocates and workers across the United States. Featured speakers included John Sowers, President of the Mentoring Project, Angela Tucker, adoptee and subject of the documentary Closure, and Brandon Hatmaker, CEO of the Legacy Collective - to name a few! It was a blessing to launch this project among like-minded believers serving in the field of adoption and advocacy!

Updates!

Tour - our tour of the U.S. will start on the East Coast this January (official date TBA)! We have begun detailing more stops. Right now we have connections in North Carolina (Raleigh), Florida (Orlando), the DC area, West Virginia and Texas! We will be sending out more information soon! Blog - our blog will be up and running this week! Here we will be posting notes from a study we are developing that revolves around God as Father and informational posts that relate to adoption and aging out worldwide. 

Paperwork - Empty Frames Initiative is officially a recognized entity in North Carolina! We are moving forward in the process of becoming a 501 c(3) approved non-profit.

Prayer Requests 

Please pray for bold partnerships during this phase of EFI's growth. We are trusting this to God, that He will put in place the needed churches and groups to link with across the U.S.  

Pray for open hearts as we speak in these settings. The Lord is capable and we believe He wants to empower the church through this opportunity. 

Pray for the countries we hope to minister to, that the orphanages and the kids they serve will be willing to connect and change the system in their communities. 

Pray for the awareness being brought to the international community in light of the attacks in Paris. Pray for a stirring in the heart of the American church, that we would begin to ask, "what is Your will, Lord?" and that we would allow this awareness to impact our actions to reflect His love, both here and abroad.
