Thai foot massage is wonderful for all seasons and will really come into its own as the seasons change.
I live in flip flops through the summer and many of you will know I like to work barefoot! So this time of year, as the weather changes, I find it hard to 'cage' my feet in shoes on a daily basis. If you're like me, Thai foot massage may help your feet with this transition by giving it some loving care...
Thai foot massage works the tops of the feet and the soles of the feet with warming massage strokes that really encourage blood flow. We then work more in-depth into the soles of the feet. Similarly to reflexology, Thai foot massage aims to stimulate the internal organs of the body via the reflex points of the feet. The massage also works along the energy (sen) lines of the feet and lower legs to balance and harmonise the flow of energy around the body.
Sen lines are invisible channels that allow energy to flow throughout the body. This stimulation of the internal organs and the energy lines is intended to facilitate the body’s normal functions and by doing so the body remains healthy. And it really feels amazing too - re energising you as a whole.
The session ends with relaxing foot wrapping to leave you feeling cosy and nurtured.
