We've just spent the past few weeks filming amazing people at fabulous locations across the Montpellier district of Cheltenham.
For those who've never been to Montpellier, or indeed Cheltenham, I recommend that you put this immediately in your diary as a destination priority. In our view, Montpellier is the entrance to the most beautiful Regency town in the Cotswolds. If you stick to the central part of Cheltenham, you could miss this vibrant and unique destination.
Montpellier is home to a variety of individual and independently owned Boutiques, Bars, Restaurants, Galleries, Hotels and many Cafés. There's influences from around the world in the Montpellier Courtyard, with Luna Designs, August Moon Tea, and the recent Tokyo Festival was a total success. In Montpellier Street, you can find the Cotswold Cheese Co, Appellation wine Co, dog friendly cafe's, clothes for men (James' of Montpellier, Dubarry) and women (Beatrice Von Trescow, Sandra Dee, Oska...), interior design (Luna Designs and more...) and when you've finished all of your shopping, you can relax in Neal's Yard with some of the lotions and potions that promote good health and wellbeing before heading over to Malmaison for afternoon tea perhaps, or Brasserie Blanc.
Montpellier has a rich wealth of stunning architecture with many shops featuring its famous Caratydes statues and fronted by the beautiful parks (Montpellier Gardens and Imperial Gardens), hosting many festivals throughout the year . The Montpellier district is definitely the place to begin and end your visit to Cheltenham Spa.
