Time for some Hot Cocoa! Ingredients: - 1 cup of water - 5 tsp cocoa powder - 1/4 tsp liquid stevia - 1-2 tbsp sugar or agave - 1 tsp vanilla extract - 3 cups almond milk - essential oil options: Cinnamon bark, Lavender, Wild Orange, or Peppermint Directions: - Heat water, cocoa powder, and sweetener on stove until ingredients are smooth. Add vanilla and milk and bring to a simmer. Poor into your favorite mug. Introduce flavor by swirling a toothpick dipped into your favorite essential oil. |

Gingerbread Cookies Ingredients: - 1 1/3 cup buckwheat flour, 2/3 cups tapioca flour, 2/3 cups sorghum flour, 1 tbsp chia seed meal, 1 tbsp flax seed, 1/3 cup coconut palm sugar, 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 2 drops cinnamon, clove oil, and ginger oil. 1/2 cup coconut oil, 1/4 cup unsweetened apple sauce, 3 tbsp water, 3 tbsp molasses, 1 tsp apple cider vinegar, 45 drops liquid stevia Directions: - Preheat over to 350. Combine dry ingredients in bowl & whisk. Combine wet ingredients in bowl and mix well. Add essential oils. Add dry ingredients into wet ingredients on slow speed until combined. Put a small handful of buckwheat flour onto clean surface and place dough on top. Roll until 1/4-1/2 inch thick. Take cookie cutter and cut out shapes. Bake 12-15 min. or until done then remove and let cool. Top with icing. |
