Hope you are doing well. Two things I wanted to tell you as we approach mid-month:
- To send some encouragement your way

OK, so the first…as the subject line of this email says:
You are not alone.
I was inspired to share this with you because some weeks ago, I came across a song that talked about how God is with us wherever we are in our lives, in our ups and downs, whether we’re on the hills or the valleys. The chorus goes:
You’re God of the hills and valleys
Hills and valleys
God of the hills and valleys
And I am not alone
That touched me to the core and even brought tears to my eyes. There have been times when I’ve felt alone, for some reason or another. Of course I know I’m not and will never be alone, because the Lord is always with me. So this song was such an assurance and a wonderful reminder.

Another reason why it struck me was because it reminded me of what the Lord spoke to my heart at the start of this year. It was January 1, and I was at Mass. After receiving Communion, I went back to my place and closed my eyes in prayer. Then I heard a voice in my heart that said: “You are not alone.” I knew it was the Lord.
I have kept that close to my heart. And through the months, He has shown me in various ways how this has been true.
So know, dear sister, that you are not alone. I know there may be times when you may feel you are, but even if you do feel that way, the truth is you are not. Hold on to the truth of what Jesus says: “I am with you always, even to the end of the age” (Matthew 28:20).
And please feel free to reach out to me if you need prayer support or if you just feel…well…alone. I’d be glad to encourage you and share more of God’s promises with you. <img height="22" src="https://static.wixstatic.com/media/5e9922_3e7ee5aee11248989143650c9d1e3ee2.png_256" width="22">
