This past Saturday, March 4th, SewGreen@Rochester buzzed with creative activity thanks to knitting machine demonstrations by Joanna Thibault and Trudy Feikert. Joanna brought her flat-bed knitting machine and demonstrated several techniques, all while wearing a beautiful dress she'd made using it. Trudy brought an antique hand-cranked circular knitting machine, as well as several items she had made with it: from socks to mitts. Many thanks to both of these talented women for sharing their love of craft with all of our visitors, shoppers and friends, and thanks to all who came and participated! You can find more about Joanna here: The Knitting Studio. |
