Creative Expressions own Lelani Clay was awarded the Earl Lloyd Scholarship for $25,000 from the Detroit Pistons in Honor of Black History Month.

Lelani Clay was a Participant in the Detroit Pistons Earl Lloyd Scholarship Competition on February 9, 2017 in Honor of Black History Month. Amongst several other competitiors she won First Place Grand Prize of $25,000 showcasing her talents as a tap dancer. This is the greatest gift she could have received as a 2017 High School Senior, as it will be used towards for college education. We at Creative Expressions would like to Congratulate Lelani on this awesome accomplishment and wish her much success in her artistic and educational career. 

CEDS DIRECTOR MAKES A CLEAN SWEEP

This month our wonderful studio along with our lovely Director, Mrs. Sheila Miller-Graham was featured in My City Magazine, for being a pillar in the community that shares her gift of dance with others.This three page spread talks about the longevity/history of the studio and how she continues to give back to the community and City of Flint. The true essence of who Mrs. Graham is the the passion behind what she does is truly captured in this article.

Sheila Miller-Graham
On Saturday February 11, 2017 Mrs. Sheila Miller-Graham was one of the chosen few to be honored by the Flint Genesse District for her outstanding work and contribution as an oustanding Entrpreneur, Community Activist, and Leader in the City of Flint. Many of Mrs. Graham's family and CEDS staff were there to witness this momentous occasion.  This was truly an honor to have been bestowed upon such a deserving woman.

"Women of a New Tribe Art Exhibit"
On Friday January 20, 2017 Mrs. Sheila Miller-Graham was honored in the "Women of a New Tribe" Art Exhibit at the Flint Institute of the Arts. Mrs. Graham among others were selected as being Women who exemplify great character, make a difference, and represent excellence among those in the City of Flint. We here at Creative Expressions would like to congratulate our Director Mrs. Sheila Miller-Graham for a job well done!!!
It is truly an honor to have her as our awesome director.
