How Can I Pray for You?

Hi, Fab Friend!

Happy second half of the year! (I know, right?!) It seems like things have gotten by so quickly!

I’ve been in the thick of so many things like major projects at work and homeschooling. Then when I finally thought I had some time to focus on my online projects last Saturday, everybody in my parents’ house* had some outside appointments that afternoon, so it was just my nine-year-old son and me who were left behind.

*(When we’re in the city, we stay in my parents’ house…when all family members are present, there are 10 of us.)

I didn’t want to just leave my son to play video games or watch stuff online. But before I allowed myself to welcome the impending frustration of plans not going my way, I decided I would enjoy that afternoon with him. I had an idea. Since my friend recently gave me a karaoke microphone, I thought of singing the afternoon away. It worked. My son and I took turns with the mic. He either sang along to his favorite video game tunes or rapped along to some beats, and I also sang to some of my favorites. Time flew as we had so much fun!

(Thank God I decided beforehand to enjoy even if plans didn’t go my way…that saved me from carrying the unnecessary weight of negativity!)

Just sharing that little anecdote as a reminder that we do have control over how we react or respond to things…and whoa, what a difference it can make!

Anyway, with the second half of the year already upon us, I wanted to ask you, dear sister —

How can I pray for you?

Do you need prayer support in anything? Is there a special intention in your heart that you’d love for me to pray for, whether a big or small thing, a serious or not-so-serious one? Please do email me back and let me know. I believe there is power in prayer, and that God cares for us and all that we are going through.

Also, do you just need someone to share your burden with or someone to talk to regarding the chaos of having to juggle all your responsibilities of motherhood, work, homeschooling, or whatever else you’ve had to throw up in the air?

Or maybe you have some questions about what the Bible might say about your situation?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, feel free to email me back. I’d love to hear from you, pray for you, and help you in whatever way I can.

(Go ahead and forward this to a friend or two whom you think might benefit as well.)

Blessings on you and to all those you hold dear!

Mich :)
