there are two funds that you can support.

Bert's students, friends, and family are setting up a comprehensive 

on-line digital archive of Bert's lectures over the years.

Many of these lectures are old tapes that will need to be digitized.

 We hope to establish an endowed fund for the

Department of Philosophy honoring Professor Dreyfus’s

legacy as a scholar of existential phenomenology and

as one who succeeded in bridging Analytic and

 Continental philosophy. If the fund receives gifts and

pledges totaling at least $50,000 within eighteen

months, we will meet the endowment goal. If the

endowed goal is not reached, gifts and pledges would

 be directed to support department activities that reflect

Professor Dreyfus’ intellectual legacy.
