Monday, March 20 It's officially Spring! Celebrate the new season while the kids enjoy one last day of no school with a FREE Italian Ice at Rita's Italian Ice. For the little ones, enjoy special story times at Mirror Lake Library. Pre-Readers (ages 3-5) begin at 10:15am and Toddlers (ages 1-3) at 11:00am. At 6pm, children ages 5 to 12 are invited to Adventures in Art at Barbara S. Ponce Public Library to create crafty collages. More fun: Toddler Tumblers K-5 Science Club |

Wednesday, March 22 Bring your teen and tween eco-warriors to the Young Environmentalists Info Session at Gulfport Public Library from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Speakers will provide information about the challenges that face the environment and the ways in which young people can get involved. After work, parents can relax at Green Bench Brewing Co. while children in grades K-6 participate in Challenge Island. The two-hour event challenges teams to build waterproof sailboats that float while the kids also learn about Poseidon and Greek mythology. Cost is $15 per child. Thursday, March 23 Introduce your preschoolers to the wonders of the natural and cultural world at Wee-Time @ Weedon starting at 10:30am. The activity is free but registration closes 24 hours in advance. Looking for the perfect class to get your child started in dance? Friday, March 24 Make Your Own Slime at Growing Up! From 10:30am until 11:30am, kids can make and take home their own fun slime. Cost is $4 per child. All supplies are included.
